CITROËN AMI RIP CURL: A LIMITED EDITION FEATURING A STRONG GRAPHIC IDENTITY
Citroën reveals the limited-edition Ami Rip Curl, marking the revival of its partnership with Rip Curl, which began with the Ami Buggy Rip Curl Vision concept presented in October 2025. Featuring a bold graphic design, this limited edition draws inspiration from surfwear aesthetics and embodies a distinctive spirit at the heart of micromobility. It blends the essence of surfing with freedom of movement, even in the city. The Ami Rip Curl features the new 5.7-inch digital display now available on Ami, which is larger and offers better graphics quality. The Ami Rip Curl will be available for order starting April 29, priced at €9,290, and will be on display at the Rip Curl Nations Trophy, presented by Citroën, at Surftown MUC in Germany, as well as on the European tour of the Rip Curl Gromsearch, also supported by Citroën.

Citroën and Rip Curl: a great partnership that continues
This limited edition marks a joyful reunion for two brands that develop stylish, high-performance products designed to enhance well-being, leisure, and adventure. Driven by their shared values of creativity, authenticity, and innovation, Citroën and Rip Curl are united by a common vision: to give everyone the freedom to get out and about, escape the everyday, and make the most of every moment.
This collaboration began in 2016 with the C4 Cactus, continued with the C4 Picasso, SpaceTourer, and C3 Aircross in 2018, and came to fruition with the Berlingo in 2021. By partnering once again with Rip Curl—a name closely associated with surfing since 1969—Citroën aims to reinforce the spirit of adventure through a version focused on relaxation and escape. For the second time, AMI bears the Rip Curl signature and celebrates this collaboration with a colorful edition.
This limited edition will be on display at two major competitions organized by Rip Curl and sponsored by Citroën. The Rip Curl Nations Trophy, presented by Citroën, will take place on May 9, 2026, at Surftown MUC in Munich. This event is part of the European GromSearch circuit, also supported by Citroën, which will kick off in Italy in April, then make stops in Spain and the United Kingdom in May, before continuing in Portugal in June and France in August. The season will conclude with the European final in September in Munich, Germany, bringing together the best European surfers under 16. These events will offer surf and mobility lovers the opportunity to discover the Ami Rip Curl, bridging the gap between city and beach, mobility and escape.
