BBC Top Gear Magazine Awards: another prize for CITROËN
Following awards from Germany’s three major motoring media, Auto Motor und Sport, Auto Bild and Auto Zeitung, CITROËN is continuing its prizewinning run in the UK, where the new Grand C4 Picasso has won “Best Family Car of the Year” from BBC Top Gear Magazine .
The jury of BBC Top Gear Magazine, one of the most prestigious UK press publications, has crowned the new MPV in the Picasso story even before the seven-seater version is released in the country.
Peerless styling and comfort
The new CITROËN Grand C4 Picasso has a long list of key strengths. It possesses singular styling, different from the five-seater, and strikes a new balance between cabin space and flowing lines. It boasts the best combination on the market of modular design, liveability and access, thanks to the efficient new EMP2 platform. It also sets a new record in low CO2 emissions with a version emitting just 98 g/km and a new engine, Blue HDi 150, the only technology that cuts NOx emissions as well as reducing CO2 emissions.
Renowned safety features
The new Grand C4 Picasso is also safety features at the best level since just scored five stars in EuroNCAP testing. The result rewards the extensive work put in to the safety on the new model.
Since launch in June 2013, the new CITROËN C4 Picasso has sold in 50,000 units, five-seater and seven-seater combined.
