With 600,000 visitors and 1,000 car sales recorded, the Motor Show has finished on a positive note for Citroën. During this edition of the show, shortened by 5 days, the unique “La Maison Citroën” stand concept attracted a steady flow of visitors, who came to learn about both the Brand’s SUV offensive and its renewed range. New C5 Aircross SUV, presented as a world première, has already accounted for a third of the 420 firm orders, illustrating once again the success of the Citroën Advanced Comfort® programme. More than ever, Paris is a celebration for Citroën at the 2018 Motor Show!

At the 2018 Paris Motor Show, alongside its latest new models, Citroën is giving pride of place to its legendary 2CV, displayed vertically against one of the walls of its stand! The reason: it was 70 years ago, at the 1948 Paris Motor Show, that the most popular of Citroëns was unveiled for the first time! This anniversary will be the subject of a dedicated event this Thursday 11 October at 18:00 on the stand, with a public speech from François Allain, presenter of the ‘Vintage Mecanic’ show on RMC Découverte and author of a book devoted to the 2CV…

With its large glass walls, the “Le Petit Citroën” lifestyle product store holds centre stage on the Citroën stand at the Paris Motor Show. Citroën is presenting its new “Oui are French” and “C” collections at the store, as well as new articles in the “Citroën Origins” collection. All these new products will delight young and less young fans of the Brand.

Citroën is putting music at the heart of its communication strategy and is supporting French musical creativity through partnerships with young, up-and-coming bands for all of its launches. Two years after the first edition at the 2016 Motor Show, the Brand is creating the event once again on its La Maison Citroën stand, at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. On the bill: five bands coming together for the ‘OUI ARE FRENCH ’ festival. In this way, with humour and optimism, the Brand provides a reminder that as well as being an international brand, it is not losing sight of its resolutely French character! A concert open to all from 17:15 to 20:15 on the Brand’s stand, Hall 1.

This year at the Paris Motor Show, Citroën is affirming its ‘Inspired by You’ signature more than ever. Its unique ‘La Maison Citroën’ stand concept actually puts the visitor at the heart of the action with a tiered Arena of over 100 seats. Much more than a simple place to relax, this Arena at the heart of the stand will be the setting for regular events throughout the Show with in particular ‘The World of Citroën’, a live, daily performance, but also the ‘Oui Are French’ music festival and a number of experiences allowing the audience to discover everything about Citroën’s world. This is the place to be, guaranteeing a unique experience for visitors!

This morning, for the press opening of the Paris Motor Show, Citroën revealed some of the highlights that the Brand is preparing for its centenary, which will be celebrated next year. Among them: the announcement of 2 concept cars… The first will be revealed next March at the Geneva Motor Show, and the second in April, at the Shanghai Motor Show. Visitors to the Citroën stand at the Paris Motor Show enjoy a real “Feel Good” experience in a setting inhabited by works of art alongside Citroën production models and concept cars. The whole stand exudes Citroën’s inimitable emphasis on comfort, convenience, creativity and french design, with choice materials, as a luminous padded façade with LED-lit walls and fishnet of words bounding the stand. Two imposing sculptures based on the Citroën badge frame the entrance to the Maison Citroën, the centrepiece of the stand. Highly original sofas, echoing the interior design of the CXPERIENCE top-end concept car, provide visitors with a superbly comfortable vantage point from which to appreciate the exceptional vehicle.

Music is an important part of Citroën’s communication strategy, and the company is constantly developing partnerships with French groups. The musical slant goes further than just the backing tracks behind its advertising campaigns, as we can see from the “CITROËN GOES LIVE” event (i.e.” Citroën part en live”), that Citroën is putting on at the Paris Motor Show. For its fourth Customer Experience Campus, held this morning at the Paris Motor Show, Citroën invited Facebook to its stand for an open debate on new brand opportunities in today’s age of popular realtime experience sharing. Citroën was showing off its latest connectivity and experience-sharing solutions —Citroën ConnectedCAM on New C3, the Share with U app, and Citroën Advisor—, which reinvent people’s relationship with their cars to offer a real feel-good motoring experience.

The objective for CITROËN at the 2014 Paris Motor Show was to continue the product offensive and to reaffirm itself as a brand harnessing creative flair and technology to enhance well-being. Two weeks on, the results from the 2014 event are highly positive. CITROËN received the prize for the most attractive stand from “l’Argus” magazine, organised more than 1,000 test drives, and reported an increase of over 27% in reservations.

For the late-night openings of the Paris Motor Show on 4 and 5 October, CITROËN is creating a party atmosphere with live concerts by two up-and-coming French artistes, Mariama and Revolver. Also, several times a day, the electro sound of Calvin Harris blasts out from the stand as the signal for a flash mob bringing together hosts, hostesses and visitors. An event eagerly awaited by the public and clearly very popular!
