Francesco CALCARA appointed responsible for Alfa Romeo Marketing and Communication Global

Francesco CALCARA has been appointed responsible for Alfa Romeo Marketing and Communication Global. He will report to Jean-Philippe IMPARATO, Alfa Romeo Brand CEO.

Francesco CALCARA has been appointed responsible for Alfa Romeo Marketing and Communication Global. He will report to Jean-Philippe IMPARATO, Alfa Romeo Brand CEO.

With a master degree in economics from the Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, Francesco Calcara has spent almost his entire career in the automotive business, developing a wide experience in Sales&Marketing and a strong knowledge of the premium market.

The first part of his career is almost entirely dedicated to sales: after some international experiences, in ’04 he joined MAZDA Motor Italia as sales area manager and after two years he became Fleet Business Development Manager.

In ’07 he joined BMW Group Italia, where he spent almost ten years assuming roles of growing responsibility: after five years in the Fleet business, formerly as Fleet key account and then Fleet Sales Manager BMW & MINI, in ’13 he was appointed national sales manager MINI.

In ’16 he took up a new challenge, becoming Luxury Marketing Manager in BMW, with direct responsibility on the Luxury strategy of the group in Italy.

In ’17 he joined PSA Groupe Italie as DS Brand Director, becoming after one year Managing Director DS and Sales & Marketing Vice President and managing the establishment of the d DS Brand in the Italian market.
