Alfa Romeo Giulia won the “2017 Newcomer of the Year” title

As the top pick of 33.4% of Quattroruote readers, the fascinating Alfa Romeo Giulia is the "2017 Newcomer of the Year", the most prestigious title in the competition organised by the monthly magazine. Three other FCA group "creations" follow suit: Fiat 124 Spider, Maserati Levante and Fiat Tipo

The award ceremony took place today in Milan, on "Quattroruote Day". FCA Chief Operating Officer for the EMEA area Alfredo Altavilla received the award before an audience that included leading members of the automotive industry.

A prestigious honour, bestowed directly by the readers, who asserted the clear leadership of FCA: alongside the Alfa Romeo Giulia, the Fiat 124 Spider, the Maserati Levante and the Fiat Tipo climbed the top steps. It's a confirmation of the high appreciation for all FCA product innovations launched over the past few months, that represent the superlative engineering and style of Italian-made products around the world.

Launched in 2000, the competition has already witnessed eleven FCA models win, the last one being last year, with the Fiat 500X. For the Group, the readers' passion and attention towards this title is also a recognition of Quattroruote and the professionalism of their editorial staff. In this year's contest, the three finalists topped no less than 12 models from a variety of brands and segments.
