The 2026 International Boat Show – taking place in Genoa from October 1 to 6 – has Alfa Romeo as the Official Car for the prestigious event. One of the top three boat-shows in the world in terms of industrial importance and international positioning, the gathering returns to the spaces of the Levante Waterfront, designed by Renzo Piano, with six days dedicated to the new frontiers of sailing and passion for the sea. The partnership between Alfa Romeo and the International Boat Show speaks the language of the Italian spirit, intended as the vocation for quality design, attention to detail and the pursuit of performance that has brought automakers and shipyards together in this country for generations. Throughout the event, the Alfa Romeo line-up will take its place both as the official fleet, with an exclusive courtesy service, and through static displays featuring the new Edizione Luna Rossa, available on the Junior, Tonale, Giulia and Stelvio models. A project that marks a further development in the collaboration between two Italian icons, brought together by their shared vision of tireless innovation, excellence in sport and constantly pushing their limits. Great curiosity will definitely be aroused by the spectacular Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa, the special series produced in only ten units, all of which have already been sold. It features specific technical interventions and a carbon-fiber kit that enhances its aerodynamic efficiency. The line-up will be framed by the imposing Alfa Romeo motorhome, the protagonist of the “Road to Naples 2027” roadshow across Italy and Europe, visiting the venues of the preliminary regattas to the Louis Vuitton 38th America's Cup until it arrives in the Bay of Naples for the most famous sailing event in the world. At each stop, the public can discover the Biscione brand’s new features and experience an immersion in its universe, straddling sport, style, and Italian identity.
The key moments in the gathering include the Design Innovation Award ceremony, organized by Confindustria Nautica and scheduled for this evening. In attendance will be Santo Ficili, Alfa Romeo and Maserati CEO, who will be presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award. An award with a great symbolic value, to celebrate not only the goals achieved but also the imprint left over time on the Italian boating sector and on the people who have shared the journey. An event that highlights the affinity between Alfa Romeo and the nautical world, both expressions of a culture in which expertise, performance and attention to detail transform technology into passion and emotion. The Show also offers an opportunity to strengthen Alfa Romeo's dialogue with certain prestigious companies close to the brand, through a series of encounters featuring Eugenio Franzetti, Head of Global Marketing at Alfa Romeo. The schedule begins with an exciting talk with the Luna Rossa team, followed by a meeting with Eberhard & Co. on October 3 and another with Anantara Hotels & Resorts on October 4. Three events with partners operating in a range of fields, brought together by the ability to combine tradition and innovation and to translate their identity into distinctive experiences.
