Alfa Romeo 3 Mini Maxi placed second in the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup

Porto Cervo, 11 September 2009 - Just one day to go before racing ends at the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup and the mini maxi Alfa Romeo 3 is placed second both in the Mini Maxi Racing,the skipper/owners' ranking, and in the more general Mini MaxiRacing Group 00.At the end of the raceNeville Crichton confirmed "The fastest boats are racing here, every day it gets more difficult to make your mark against such determined crews. Neville Crichton and his boat, which started the race with a fully revised complement of technology and higher performance specifications, are able to climb the podium in this prestigious race that has attracted boats from around the world.

At the end of today's race, Neville Crichton called his crew together to discuss the weather and strategies and to prepare for tomorrow's decisive challenge. He will have his work cut out against the other leading maxi yachts, but if the weather conditions are right, Alfa Romeo 3will be able to sail a very good race and maintain a high position on the leader board.
