Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN finished the inaugural Qatar Grand Prix in 14th and 15th positions, a result achieved in difficult conditions during the floodlit race. Kimi Räikkönen and Antonio Giovinazzi delivered solid performances from the back, executing two really good starts and achieving the most that was possible on the night.

Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN endured a challenging Saturday in Losail as Kimi Räikkönen and Antonio Giovinazzi classified 16th and 18th in qualifying for tomorrow’s Grand Prix. Under the lights of the Qatari circuit, the Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN duo ended their run in Q1, and will aim to make up lost ground in the race.

Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN produced a battling display in the Brazilian Grand Prix, with Kimi Räikkönen finishing 12th after starting from the pit lane and Antonio Giovinazzi following him home in 14th. The result brings the team no points, but the pace and the fighting shown on track, with numerous battles against our rivals, demonstrates the team continues to be in the tussle for top ten finishes on Sunday.

Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN had mixed results in Sprint qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix, as Antonio Giovinazzi made up one place from his starting position to finish 13th, while Kimi Räikkönen was 18th after having to recover from the back as a result of a collision and spin in the opening phases.

Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN brought home four precious points from the Mexican Grand Prix, courtesy of a strong team performance that saw Kimi Räikkönen finish eighth after a flawless race in Mexico City. Team-mate, Antonio Giovinazzi, was just outside the points in 11th after a solid performance that saw him run as up as sixth in the opening stages.

Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN booked a place in Q2 during qualifying for the 2021 United States Grand Prix in Austin, as Antonio Giovinazzi set the 13th fastest time on Saturday afternoon. Team-mate, Kimi Räikkönen, was 18th as both drivers will make up places for tomorrow’s race at the Circuit of the Americas, owing to penalties to other drivers.

Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN produced a strong race at the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix, with Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Räikkönen just missing out on the points in 11th and 12th after fighting their way from the back of the grid. It was a performance from the team that deserved the reward of points, a result that would have no doubt come had the race been just one lap longer, with both Antonio and Kimi rapidly closing in on a struggling Esteban Ocon.

On a damp track after this morning’s persistent rain, the Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN team couldn’t turn their pace into positions and saw both drivers bow out of the session after Q1.

On a wet circuit after heavy rain drenched the venue for the majority of the day – to the point that the final practice session had to be cancelled – the drivers tip-toed around on intermediate tyres, but couldn’t clear Q1.
