- The Bulgarian of Campos Racing took a third and two second places to crown him overall and rookie champion.
- Hugh Barter is almost perfect at Navarra with 3 wins, 3 fastest laps and 2 pole positions.
- Campos Racing won the team title thanks to the performances of Tsolov and Barter.
Nikola Tsolov (BUL - Campos Racing) is the Spanish F4 Championship Certified by FIA champion. The Bulgarian driver of Campos Racing was third in race one and twice second at the Navarra circuit, in the penultimate round of the Iberian series, and thanks to these results he became champion one round ahead in a weekend that saw his team-mate Hugh Barter (AUS - Campos Racing) take three wins, three fastest laps and two pole positions. Pole position for race three, however, went to rookie Noah Strømsted (DKN - Campos Racing) in his first time in the Spanish series. On the podium at the Navarra track, in addition to Tsolov and Barter, was Kirill Smal (KGZ - MP Motorsport) second in race one and third in race two, and Tymoteusz Kucherczyk (POL - MP Motorsport) third in race three. For Tsolov also came the certainty of the rookie title, while the Campos Racing team, thanks to the performance of Tsolov himself and Barter, won the team title. At Navarra, 30 Tatuus single-seaters, powered by the 180 hp Abarth T-Jet 1.4 engine, also put on a show. Valerio Rinicella (ITA - MP Motorsport) put in an excellent performance, coming close to the podium in Race 3 after finishing sixth and seventh, and moving up to sixth overall. One of the most positive drivers was Poland's Kucherczyk, who in addition to a podium finish in race three took two fourth places. The Spanish series will be back on track on 13 November for the Grand Finale of the championship at the Catalan circuit of Barcelona.
Nikola Tsolov, the 15-year-old Bulgarian, Fernando Alonso's protégé, is certainly satisfied and happy with the title, but he is already looking ahead: "Our dream has come true and I thank all those who believed in me, but there is still one round to go and what comes next".
Hugh Barter does not hide his joy at a near-perfect weekend, despite the fact that the possibility of the title vanished for him: "We knew we could have a good weekend and I tried from the first race to impose my pace and I succeeded. In race three I knew that in order to keep hoping Nikola would have to finish over fifth, and when I saw him in my mirror, I realised that for me the chances were almost over, but I'm happy for him anyway and for what I also showed this weekend".
F4 Spanish Championship Overall Standings: 1. Nikola Tsolov (BGR – Campos Racing) 331; 2. Hugh Barter (AUS – Campos Racing) 250; 3. Tymoteusz Kucharczyk (POL – MP Motorsport) 191; 4. Kirill Smal (KGZ – MP Motorsport) 129; 5. Georg Kelstrup (DNK – Campos Racing) 100.
