German talent Marvin Dienst was the star of the sixth round of the ADAC F4 Abarth. At the Sachsenring race track Marvin won the first two races and finished second behind Australian Joey Mason in the last one. His two more victories, after those achieved at the Nürburgring earlier this summer, project the German driver alone in the lead of the championship. A championship that is run with Italian Tatuus single seater cars powered by Abarth engines.
It has been really positive the racing weekend of the young Mick Schumacher, too. Mick finished fifth overall in Race 1, ahead of British Harrison Newey (the son of F1 engineer Adrian). With this result, Schumacher is now third in the "Rookies" ranking, which is now led by German driver David Beckmann.
In a context of broad and passionate audience, the Scorpion brand has helped make a huge show with the single seaters powered by the T-Jet 160 HP Abarth engine, and with the Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluzione, that gave freezing emotions in the two races of the Trofeo Abarth Selenia Europe. Italian Alex Campani won the first event and Swede Niklas Lilja has been the winner of the second one. Lilja leads the overall ranking of the trophy, ahead of Finn Juuso Pajuranta and Italian Luca Anselmi.
The next round of the German ADAC F4 Abarth Championship will be held at the circuit of Oschersleben from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th of September.
