A new racing weekend is on the horizon and Abarth will be joining forces with the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP Team in Silverstone for the 12th round of the MotoGP championship. The race on this circuit steeped in history, which is incidentally one of the fastest of the entire championship, will start with Valentino Rossi standing second in the ranking followed by his team mate Jorge Lorenzo, who is third.
After coming second in the last GP in Brno, "The Doctor" is looking forward to returning to the track on which he won last year at the end of a very difficult race heavily conditioned by the weather.
Many enthusiasts own Abarth cars in the UK. Merit for this success goes to the continuously evolving range: 595 Abarth is offered with three trim levels (595, 595 Turismo and 595 Competizione) and three power levels to satisfy the requirements of increasingly demanding and competent customers. Many of the introduced upgrades are the result of experience gained with the development of the 695 Biposto, dubbed the "smallest supercar", that brings together emotional contents and real racing technology in a street-legal car.
Also new is Abarth 124 spider: designed to satisfy even the tastes of the most difficult-to-please drivers, the new Abarth model is fitted out with rear-wheel drive, sophisticated suspension and a four-cylinder 1.4 MultiAir Turbo engine with 170 HP, paired with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic Sequenziale Sportivo gearbox with steering-wheel paddle shifters.
