• Marvin Dienst won the first German Championship ADAC Formula 4 Abarth

Sunday, October 4th at the Hockenheimring, is finished the first edition of the German Championship ADAC Formula 4 Abarth, ran with single-seaters cars equipped with the Abarth engines.

After the eight events scheduled during this season, the winner of the title has been the German talent Marvin Dienst, 18 years old, with 347 points, ahead of Swedish frontrunner Joel Eriksson, 17 (299 points) and Australian Joey Mawson, 19, third overall with 297 points.

In the "Rookies" ranking, especially dedicated to the youngest racing drivers, third overall is Mick Schumacher, 15 years old, with 290 points, behind peers Mike Ortman (327), and the classification's winner David Beckmann, with 396 points.

The three races were won by Dienst, Beckmann and Mawson, who approached his nearest contender, Joel Eriksson, but he could not overcome him in the final ranking.

In any case, this first edition of the German Championship ADAC F4 Abarth - this year the German series has chosen the 1.4 T-Jet 160 hp for its cars Tatuus, after the onset of motor Abarth in the Italian Formula 4 in 2014 - It has proved a great success, as well as the Italian F4 Campionship powered by Abarth, which ended at the same time on the Misano Adriatico circuit. The Estonian Ralf Aron, already mathematically won the series, has honored the title by winning the first race. The others were won by Russian Robert Schwartzman and Argentine Marcos Sieberg.
