  • Perfect weekend for the Italian driver of Prema Racing who wins three times by setting the fastest lap in all the races, after taking three pole positions.
  • Antonelli is the new leader of the series ahead of his team mate Rafael Camara, twice second at Vallelunga.
  • On the podium James Wharton, third in race 1, Taylor Barnard, second in race 2 and Charlie Wurz, twice third.

Once again Andrea Kimi Antonelli (ITA - Prema Racing) is the dominator of the Italian F4 Championship Certified by FIA. The driver from Bologna took three pole positions, won the three races and sealed his success with the three fastest laps in the races, jumping to the top of the overall standings ahead of his team-mate Rafael Camara (BRA - Prema Racing) second in race 1 and race 3 and forced to retire in race 2.

36 are the points that, after the season's halfway point, divide the two Prema drivers, followed at a distance by Alex Dunne (IRL - US Racing), fierce on the Roman circuit of Vallelunga, but still off the podium with two fourth places in race 1 and race 2. Continuous improvement for James Wharton (AUS - Prema Racing) who climbs on the podium in race 1 and conquers fourth position in race 3, shortening the standings just on Dunne. Exploit for Taylor Barnard (GBR - PHM Racing) who conquers the second place in race 2 and two fifth places which are worth 38 points in the fourth round of the series which saw 37 Tatuus F4 T021s powered by the 180 hp Abarth T-Jet 1.4 engine on track, while Charlie Wurz (AUT - Prema Racing) climbs twice on the third step of the podium maintaining the fifth position in the standings ahead of Kacper Sztuka (POL - US Racing) and Marcus Amand (FIN - US Racing). Also at Vallelunga the cars of the Italian F4 Championship, powered by Abarth, proved to be at the top in terms of performance and reliability, giving three spectacular races despite the great heat that even reached 63° on the asphalt.

Satisfied with the second consecutive hat-trick Andrea Kimi Antonelli commented: "We managed to replicate the result of Spa, which is very positive. This weekend was very difficult, especially because of the temperatures, but I think we controlled everything very well. I will definitely train during the break, but I will also think about resting, because I need it. For sure starting the summer with the leadership in both championships is a very positive thing, which motivates a lot".

Next appointment with the Italian F4 Championship Certified by FIA scheduled from 9 to 11 September on the Austrian circuit of Red Bull Ring, which will open the final rush of the season that includes the rounds of Monza (9 October) and Mugello (23 October). Next weekend, on the other hand, the Iberian series of the F4 Spanish Championship will be back on track at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, in the second round across the border after the opening round at Portimao.

Italian F4 Championship overall standings: 1. Andrea Kimi Antonelli (ITA – Prema Racing) 219; 2. Rafael Camara (BRA – Prema Racing) 183; 3. Alex Dunne (IRL – US Racing) 132; 4. James Wharton (AUS – Prema Racing) 112; 5. Charlie Wurz (AUT – Prema Racing) 104.
