The fourteenth round of the FIM MotoGP World Championships headed to Spain, for the race of the Grand Prix Movistar de Aragón. The Movistar Yamaha MotoGP Team pulled up to the starting line with Valentino Rossi, top in the standings, followed by Jorge Lorenzo. Abarth, as always, took to the race circuit with Yamaha as its Official Sponsor and Official Car Supplier, and at the end of the race, it was time to celebrate the exceptional win for Jorge Lorenzo and third place for Valentino Rossi. The gap has narrowed, the rider from Tavullia having 263 points, trailed by the Spanish rider with 249 points.

The Abarth party continued at all Italian dealerships for the "open doors" event dedicated to the new special series 595 Yamaha Factory Racing, the result of the prestigious partnership with the Movistar Yamaha Team for the seasons 2015 and 2016, presented at the Show in Frankfurt and available today with prices starting from 21,850 euros.

The car has a 160 HP 1.4 T-Jet engine and a Record Monza exhaust terminal. The Abarth Koni suspension kit that includes front and rear shock absorbers with FSD valve and Eibach lowered springs at the front and rear has improved reactivity and steering precision, enhancing the driver's feel for the vehicle.

The sporty character is stressed by the matt black 17" alloy rims, by the iconic Record Monza exhaust and the the red brake callipers that echo the Abarth stripes. The privacy windows complete the exterior of the Abarth 595 Yamaha Factory Racing edition whilst the interior features the flat-bottom steering wheel, leather seats and aluminium pedals.

The boot has the logo of "Yamaha Factory Racing" which, with a palmares of six world championships won since 2004, is one of the most successful teams in the world. Likewise, Abarth proves to be the car brand that is most capable of conveying the real essence of race circuits, in addition to sharing the values of sportsmanship and a desire to excel existing both in the DNA of the Scorpion and in the protagonists of the two-wheels world.
