Alfa Romeo and Eintracht Frankfurt: the Bundesliga's best jersey

• The new jerseys for the 2013/14 season presented to the public. • The venture between Eintracht and Fiat Group Automobiles kicks off.

The Alfa Romeo trademark will flank the eagle emblem on the Eintracht Frankfurt's new jerseys for the forthcoming 2013/2014 football season. Sebastian Jung, Eintracht player, and Daniel Dejanovic, of the U13 youth team, presented their two jerseys to the public for the first time at the Alfa Romeo Flagship Store in Frankfurt today.

The uniform, sporting the team's traditional red and black colours with stripes stretching across the chest onto the back, was chosen by a number of selected Eintracht fan club members, while black and white colours were chosen for the first time for the away kit. The "Without heart we are only machines" motto on the inside of the skirt is another nod to Alfa Romeo. What is more, Alfa Romeo cars will soon be sporting the Eintracht emblem. Various ideas to celebrate the venture are being examined right now.

With this sponsorship Alfa Romeo reasserts the brand's commitment and attention towards various sports disciplines beyond car racing on all levels, like football and the Superbike World Championship. It is no chance that all Fiat Group Automobiles brands are driven by principles and values in common to sports to reach successful results: working day by day with determination to achieve excellent performance levels and express the potentials of individuals and of the team. Like for Eintracht players and the young promises of the Riederwald sports centre, the Alfa Romeo team comes onto the field everyday by the side of their customers.

In addition to the Bundesliga football team, Fiat Group Automobiles Germany AG (FGA) will be the new main sponsor for the next three years of the youth teams and the many other disciplines of the Eintracht Frankfurt sports centre. The two partners have several things in common: the headquarters of Fiat Group Automobiles Germany AG (FGA) are located between the Commerzbank-Arena, home to the Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG, and the Riederwald, where Eintracht Frankfurt e.V. sports centre is based.

Something else that Alfa Romeo and the German football team have in common is Milan, where Alfa Romeo was established and twin town of Frankfurt. And that’s not all. Alfa Romeo and Eintracht are both known to take on challenges with enthusiasm and determination and agree that there is no such thing as an insurmountable obstacle: the German team will prove this during the forthcoming season both in their league and internationally, while the car marker will do by setting up a global growth plan which will turn the brand into a leading player on the Premium market.
