Stellantis, Wayve und Uber arbeiten zusammen, um fahrerlose L4-Mobilitätsdienste zu entwickeln und bereitzustellen. Durch die Kombination der L4-Ready Plattformen™ von Stellantis, des fortschrittlichen AI-Drivers von Wayve und des führenden Mobilitätsnetzwerks von Uber wollen die Unternehmen die weltweite Einführung von Robotaxi-Diensten beschleunigen. Amsterdam, London und San Francisco, 17. Juni 2026 – Stellantis, Wayve und Uber haben heute eine Partnerschaft bekannt gegeben, um gemeinsam die Entwicklung und den Einsatz von fahrerlosen Robotertaxis der Stufe 4 auf globaler Ebene voranzutreiben. Die Zusammenarbeit bringt die L4-Ready Plattformen™ von Stellantis, Wayves KI-Fahrtechnologie und den globalen Marktplatz von Uber zusammen, um eine neue Generation vollständig autonomer Fahrzeuge zu entwickeln. Sie baut auch auf den bestehenden strategischen Beziehungen der Unternehmen auf, darunter die kürzlich geschlossene L2++-Vereinbarung von Stellantis und Wayve und die Partnerschaft von Wayve und Uber, um von diesem Jahr an autonome Fahrten in London, Tokio und zehn weiteren Städten auf der ganzen Welt anzubieten.
Partnerschaft zur Beschleunigung der Skalierung
Die neue Initiative zielt darauf ab, die drei komplementären Stärken zu kombinieren, die für die Kommerzialisierung des autonomen Fahrens erforderlich sind: Fahrzeuge, Technologie und Plattform.
- Fahrzeuge & Integration: Stellantis wird Fahrzeuge auf Basis fortschrittlicher L4-Ready Platftormen™ in großem Maßstab designen, konstruieren und fertigen, die über eine integrierte Sensorik verfügen und die mit den betrieblichen Anforderungen, der Sicherheit und Redundanz ausgestattet sind, die für den fahrerlosen Betrieb mit hoher Auslastung erforderlich sind.
- KI-Technologie: Wayve wird die KI-Fahrsoftware bereitstellen, die es den Fahrzeugen ermöglicht, komplexe reale Umgebungen vollständig autonom zu erfassen und sich darin zurechtzufinden. Die Technologie basiert auf Wayves End-to-End-KI-Fahransatz und ist so konzipiert, dass sie sich an verschiedene Regionen und Fahrbedingungen anpassen kann, ohne dass eine stadtbezogene Kartierung oder Neuprogrammierung erforderlich ist. Dies ermöglicht eine schnellere und kostengünstigere Erweiterung.
- Mobilitätsplattform: Uber wird diese autonomen Fahrzeuge in seinem globalen Mobilitätsnetzwerk einsetzen, um Fahrgäste über die Uber App mit autonomen Fahrten zu verbinden und den Betrieb auf verschiedenen Märkten auszuweiten
Für die Kunden bedeutet dies, dass sie die Vorteile der Technologie des autonomen Fahrens in den Fahrzeugen und auf dem Markt nutzen können, die sie bereits kennen und denen sie vertrauen.

Autonome Mobilität für mehr Fahrgäste
Im Rahmen dieser Zusammenarbeit planen die Unternehmen, gemeinsam an der Fahrzeugintegration, an Tests, der Validierung und der Einführung zu arbeiten, um sichere, zuverlässige und skalierbare autonome Mobilitätsdienste in Städten in ganz Europa, Nordamerika und darüber hinaus anzubieten.
Die strategische Beziehung ist ein bedeutender Schritt in Richtung kommerzieller Robotaxi-Dienste in großem Maßstab und stärkt den Ökosystem-Ansatz, der erforderlich ist, um die Technologie für autonome Fahrzeuge zu demokratisieren und sie Millionen von Fahrzeugen und Fahrgästen auf der ganzen Welt zugänglich zu machen.

Das unverbindliche Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) legt den Rahmen für zukünftige Vereinbarungen über Technologieentwicklung, Lizenzierung, Produktion und Fahrzeugbeschaffung fest. Jedes Unternehmen behält die Flexibilität, zusätzliche Kooperationen im Bereich des autonomen Fahrens zu verfolgen.
