The 2016 Fiat Bravo gets new look and much more technology

A benchmark in its category, Fiat Bravo has just hit the market with a new look, which further enhances its sportiveness and sophistication. This vehicle also provides more state-of-art technologies, such as the Uconnect™ - a FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) group global system for entertainment, communication and navigation -, and the rear view camera, content available for all versions of the 2016 New Bravo. The vehicle now has in its new trim the exclusive BlackMotion Special Series which is a success on other vehicles of the brand.

The 2016 Fiat Bravo gets new look and much more technology


At the first sight you will realize that the New Bravo is much more attractive and sophisticated in its body, which has 4,373 mm in length. Its lines are even more striking and modern, incorporating elements that convey a larger size impression for the vehicle.

New bumpers, new rear light and headlight protectors, 'V' chrome bar in the bumper, spoiler ... There are dozens of improvements for the 2016 line of the vehicle, which includes up to new alloy wheels with exclusive designs for each of the versions.

Viewed from the front, the new bumper grille, which is now enhanced by a chromed bar with the Fiat logo in the center, with the new bumper that has sharp lines and the new 'V' chrome bar, which houses the new fog light protectors, stand out and highlight the stronger and striking character of the New Bravo.

The rear of the 2016 New Bravo also has new details. Wherever you look at, you will notice that the new look is more modern, with elements that reinforce the sporty aspirations of the vehicle. The new rear features a redesigned rear bumper with air deflectors, the new rear light black protectors and rear spoiler. On top of that, the logo with new spelling is now highlighted in the central part of the rear lid.

The passenger compartment of the New Bravo, which has always been a benchmark for its high quality finishing with fine textures and materials, in addition to much sophistication, also has new improvements for the 2016 model. It now has a new white lighting present in the internal commands, in addition to a new spelling within the instrument panel. Details that make the interior even more modern and pleasant.

The 2016 New Bravo also is more comfortable. All versions have as a standard feature the folding rear center armrest with cup holders. And, depending on the version and finish, it also has the new seats, with brings new seams.

To further enhance the sporty DNA of the vehicle, from the simplest trim, the new Bravo comes with new alloy wheels with unique designs for each version and side skirts in the vehicle color.


Entertainment and navigation even more present

Since its release, the Fiat Bravo stood out not only for its design and high standard finishing, but also for its embedded technology. The New Bravo gives another big step towards connectivity.  Now it has new technological content in its already extensive list, the Uconnect™ Touch system the Uconnect™ Touch NAV and the rear view camera provides a great competitive advantage comparing to its competitors.

The Uconnect™ global system of the FCA group for entertainment, communication and navigation is already featured in many vehicles from Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and RAM. This system is world-renowned for its high level of connectivity and ease of use. The Uconnect™ Touch is a standard feature in all versions of the New Bravo.

This new media center improves the connectivity in a very intuitive and pleasant way, allowing a full integration with the car. Media and phone features can also be controlled by voice, by simply touching the buttons at the multifunctional leather steering wheel. Or, if you prefer, you can simply use the 5" LCD multicolored touch screen to access all features. Everything always easy to operate and close to your hands.

Among the many features of the new media center we can highlight:

✓    Music playing by audio streaming;
✓    Bluetooth;
✓    USB Port compatible with iPod and iPhone, in addition to an Auxiliary Port;
✓    Viewing and sending SMS through pre-recorded messages;
✓    Voice command (for SMS calls and media access).

The 2016 New Bravo also provides the media center option with the very current GPS navigation system, which uses one of the more reliable and accurate software of the market, provided by TOM TOM, a world leader in navigation systems.

The modern Uconnect™ Touch NAV system offer several options, such as the navigation support. We can mention, as an example:

✓    Route planning;
✓    Voice commands and directions;
✓    Points of interest management;
✓    Tom Tom maps update by USP port;
✓    Emergency services;
✓    Menu customization;
✓    Navigation with map display option in 2D or 3D.

Other relevant feature that is for the first time at the New Bravo is the rear view camera, which facilitates the maneuvers using the LCD system of the UConnect™ Touch media system. Working together with the rear parking sensor, the system also beeps warning the driver while approaching obstacles.


Bravo BlackMotion Special Series

Another great innovation of the 2016 Fiat Bravo line is the exclusive BlackMotion Special Series. This version has many exclusive standard features that enhance the elegance and sophistication, pleasing the most demanding customers.

With its black interior and leather seats, the BlackMotion Special Series has the Uconnect™ NAV as a standard feature, providing an excellent navigation system to the driver. To provide even more comfort on board, the vehicle has an automatic dualtemp digital air conditioning and elegant carpet floor mats.

On the exterior, its exclusive characterization has a strong and sophisticated personality at the same time:
✓   17 inch Alloy Wheel;
✓    Smoked headlight covers;
✓    Side skirts;
✓    Chrome double twin exhaust tip;
✓    Air intakes, mirrors and spoilers with Onyx black finish;
✓    Front bars with Dark chrome finish;
✓    Side strips and the doorway with the BlackMotion logo.

To complete your package content, the BlackMotion Bravo will have as standard features the sports suspensions system which is adjusted for greater performance and a more precise steering, in addition to a parking sensor.


New trim

Always in tune with consumers' needs, Fiat also reformulated the 2016 Bravo trim. Now it has the Essence 1.8 16V, Sporting 1.8 16V, T-Jet 1.4 16V Turbo and the BlackMotion Special Series 1.8 16V.

All the options are going to be powered by a 1.8 L 4-cylinder flex-fuel engine capable of generating 132 / 130 h.p (ethanol / gasoline) with a 5-speed manual gearbox, with the option to have it with the Dualogic Plus AMT transmission. The flagship vehicle T-Jet sporty design Bravo is powered by a 1.4L turbo 4-cylinder engine which makes 152 h.p at 5,500 rpm and its impressive 21.1 kgfm maximum torque which remains constant up to between 2,250 rpm to 4,500 rpm, and can reach up to 23.0 kgfm at 3.000 rpm powering its exclusive Overbooster system, and 6-speed manual gearbox.

Since its release in 2010, the Fiat Bravo stands out for its excellent cost benefit, and this was improved for its 2016 line. The New Bravo, which has many features even in its first version, Essence, brings as a standard feature the Uconnect™ Touch media center. Its standards features include from the air conditioning output for the rear seat passengers, 16 inch Alloy Wheel, complete on-board computer to the adjustable seats and steering wheel, in addition to the side skirts and the spoiler on the rear lid. The Sporting version has the new sports 17 inch Alloy Wheel, in addition to its specific features, such as the sport finishing headlights, the sport finishing chrome double twin exhaust tip, Skydome electric sunroof, sportive suspension, among other features. The top of the category, T-Jet, has in its huge list of standard features some unique features for the version, such as the Hill Holder device, a Dot Matrix screen display, and parking sensor.

Service and Warranty  

The 2016 New Bravo, as every Fiat vehicle, has more than 600 support locations throughout Brazil, among dealers and assistance points.
The 2016 Fiat Bravo has a two-year contractual warranty, in addition to a three-year warranty for engine / shifter, and also a three-year for the 24 hour Confiat assistance service.
