FIAT STRADA IS THE COMMERCIAL LIGHT VEHICLE MOST SOLD IN BRAZIL
Absolute leader in the Brazilian market of light commercial vehicles, Fiat Strada pickup truck closed the month of August with 8,870 units sold and market share of 32.3% in the segment, just over the double of the sales of the second in the list. In the year, 72,669 units of the model have already been traded. This result This result positions the Strada as the third best-selling vehicle in the country in 2015 in the market of light commercial vehicle and keeps him at the top of the segment of compact pickups for 15th year.
Over 1.1 million units of Strada pickup were sold in Brazil since its launch in 1998, which demonstrate the success of this versatile model, which can be used both for cargo transport as for leisure on weekends or daily transport. Among the compact pickups, its sales surpass the sum of all other models traded in Brazil.
In addition to qualities such as style, robustness, reliability, versatility and economy, one of the factors that make the Strada the preferred vehicle in its segment is innovation. The Fiat pickup was responsible for the introduction of important novelties in the domestic market, which always put it ahead of its competitors:
- A year after its release, the extended cab version was introduced, a new solution in the segment and a milestone in terms of differentiation.
- It received items of robustness with the release of the Adventure version, standing out for the innovative adoption of the Locker, the lock differential which increases the pickup traction capacity in adverse terrain situations.
- It was Brazil's first compact pickup with cabin.
- Fiat Strada received the Dualogic Gearbox which then evolved into the advanced Dualogic® Plus, that provides more comfort and practicality to driver.
- The Strada pickup truck innovated as well with the introduction of the third door, a new solution in this thread that facilitates access to the passenger compartment of the vehicle, making it even more comfortable.
With so many qualities, Strada is today one of Fiat's main export products from Brazil. The model is marketed successfully in 11 countries, including Mexico and Argentina.
