Today, the third episode concludes the three-chapter docuseries “Lancia. La storia di una rinascita”, a video project designed to take viewers to November 27th, Lancia anniversary, a day that marks the brand entry into its new era. In the third episode Luca Napolitano, Lancia brand CEO, acts as the narrator, together with two guests: Luca Fuso, CEO of Cassina and Walter Mariotti, Domus Editorial Director.

“The new Lancia Ypsilon represents a new design language, a timeless, pure, and radical design. Our past has been a great source of inspiration to innovate, reinvent style and redefine the way of 'living' on board the future Lancia cars. They will embody our two key values: the “home feeling” and “effortless technology”. For the first time, the interiors of a car are designed taking inspiration from the interiors of a beautiful Italian home, to convey that warm welcoming feeling, typical of Italian houses. A journey shared with Cassina, an excellence of “Made in Italy” in furniture design. And that's not all, the S.A.L.A. (Sound Air Light Augmentation) interface is the result of a technology that is simple, intuitive, and more human,” stated Luca Napolitano, Lancia brand CEO.

The third episode takes viewers on a virtual journey through the details of the historic Lancia icons that have inspired the future design. A journey to discover a pure and radical design that combines the elegance of the Flaminia and Aurelia B24 Spider with brutal elements, as the geometries of the muscular Stratos and Delta. The same combination can be found in the Lancia Pu+Ra HPE concept car, which also shows eclectic elements inspired by the Italian tradition of interior design, thanks to the collaboration with Cassina.
Onboard well-being has always been a central element for the Lancia brand, which, in designing the interiors of its cars, aims to convey that typical Italian home warm welcoming feeling. This concept of the “home feeling” transforms the interpretation of the car, from a purely performance-based product to an emotional one, changing the relationship with the technology within the car to make it simple, intuitive, but above all, human.
