11 November 2025 – Melbourne, VIC — Leapmotor Australia is pleased to announce the rollout of its latest complimentary Over-the-Air (OTA) software update for Leapmotor C10 vehicles, enhancing both Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Range-Extender Electric Vehicle (REEV) variants.

From September 19th, customers will have received notifications for the Leapmotor C10 and C10 REEV update, which introduces a range of new features and refinements designed to elevate the driving experience. Upon receiving the notification, customers must connect their vehicle to Wi-Fi to download the update. Once the download is complete, they will be prompted to install the update directly from the vehicle's interface.

Among the updates are:

  • Integrated 360° Dashcam Recorder operates while the vehicle is running, utilising the vehicle’s surround view cameras to record driving footage, saving directly to a USB.
  • QDLink, a new feature that enhances connectivity and entertainment experience on the road. QDLink is a cross-platform application designed to enable screen projection from Android devices directly to the central infotainment interface. It ensures effortless mirroring with minimal setup—bringing your smartphone’s capabilities into full view.
  • Radioline, a global radio streaming service that offers access to thousands of live radio stations from around the world, will now be available in the Leapmotor C10. From local news to international music, drivers can enjoy a rich audio experience tailored to their preferences, no matter where they are.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) - Drivers can now operate most ADAS switches in any gear, while Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Centering Control (LCC) sensors have been refined. Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) has been enhanced for better sensitivity and performance, and fault icons for Driver Drowsiness Alert (DDAW) and Attention Detection Warning (ADDW) have been relocated to the cluster display. Audio alerts have been softened, and durations shortened, contributing to a more seamless driving experience.

  • Memory setting: A new user combined memory setting allows drivers to save presets for selected ADAS and driving modes, which can be activated via a customisable steering wheel button.
  • Navigation: Navigation has also been upgraded with the addition of an “avoid tolls” option, improved 3D route visibility, and clearer location names for addresses sent from mobile devices. The system now supports additional languages and includes logic enhancements for better usability.
  • User Interface: The user interface has undergone further refinement, expanding voice recognition capabilities and introducing new commands such as searching by song or artist name. The dock bar now includes passenger climate zone and mirror heating controls.
  • In addition, the Leapmotor smartphone app has also been improved to include digital key sharing amongst family and friends who also have a registered Leapmotor app account. The primary user can share access to their vehicle granting Bluetooth® key access on a temporary or permanent basis. This gives two users the ability to have access for entry, remote control features (eg. climate control), vehicle positioning and energy consumption data.

Leapmotor Australia remains committed to delivering intelligent, user-centric innovations that enhance safety, comfort, and connectivity. This latest OTA update reflects the brand’s dedication to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
