December 3rd, Melbourne VIC – Fiat Professional Australia is proud to announce the arrival of the Fiat Ducato Series 2 range, landing in dealerships from November 2025. Following the recent Series 2 Camper and Motorhome’s successful launch, this launch represents the significant progress of the iconic Fiat Ducato. The Series 2 delivers a compelling new value proposition with upgrades across powertrain, design, technology and safety. 

Powertrain Update 

The Fiat Ducato Series 2 introduces a new-generation 8-speed automatic transmission, paired with aerodynamic exterior enhancements, delivering a smoother, more responsive driving experience. The transmission has been carefully engineered to ensure optimised torque delivery for improved driving comfort through the trusted and powerful 132kW 2.2L diesel engine. New clutches contribute to quicker, more refined gear changes, further enhancing drivability. 

Exterior 

The Fiat Ducato Series 2 introduces a refreshed and modern exterior design, led by a redesigned front end that enhances both visual appeal and aerodynamic performance. Key updates include a body-coloured front grille, a reprofiled front bumper, and a more aerodynamic radiator grille, all contributing to a contemporary look. Functionality is at the forefront with familiar rear layout featuring glazed rear doors with heated glass and 270-degree opening while additional refinements include an updated Fiat wheel centre cap and rear door logos, and redesigned door mirrors with improved aerodynamic shaping. 

These changes modernise the Fiat Ducato’s appearance while preserving its unmistakable identity, reinforcing its professional and purposeful stance on the road. 

  

Interior 

The Fiat Ducato Series 2 brings a host of thoughtful updates to the cabin, creating a more modern, comfortable, and functional workspace for drivers including the standard three occupant configuration with a dual passenger seat and 3-point central seat belt. The interior now features an updated Fiat logo on the steering wheel, the previously optional “Techno Dash” as standard, new crepe black fabric upholstery, and a redesigned gear lever to complement the new 8-speed automatic transmission. Comfort and convenience are further enhanced with automatic climate control, a TechnoLeather-wrapped steering wheel, and a height-adjustable driver’s seat. 

The most notable upgrade is the inclusion of the 10” Uconnect infotainment system as standard, replacing the previous 7” unit. This advanced system offers: 

• A high-resolution 1920 x 1200 touchscreen display 

• Android Operating System with a smartphone-style interface 

• Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ 

• Bluetooth® phone connectivity 

• Satellite navigation with TomTom 3D maps 

• Customisable widgets and one-touch access to frequently used functions 

• Steering wheel-mounted controls 

• Two USB ports (1x USB-A, 1x USB-C for data and charging) 

These enhancements make the Fiat Ducato’s cabin more intuitive and connected, supporting productivity and comfort for drivers throughout their workday. 

 

ADAS Enhancements - Standard across all variants: 

The Fiat Ducato Series 2 now comes equipped with an expanded suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), with several key features made standard across the range. These enhancements further strengthen the Fiat Ducato’s drive for safety, confidence, and driver support. 

Newly standard features include: 

• Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) 

• Intelligent Speed Assist (ISA) 

• Driver Attention Assist (DAA) 

These additions complement the existing ADAS package that includes Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with pedestrian and cyclist detection and Lane Keep Assist (LKA). 

Together, these intelligent systems provide a safer, more confident driving experience, particularly valuable for commercial operators who spend extended hours on the road. 

Warranty & Roadside Assist 

The Fiat Ducato Series 2 is backed by an enhanced ownership package, reflecting Fiat Professional’s commitment to long-term reliability and customer peace of mind. 

• Warranty: Now with 5-years / 200,000km, up from the previous 3-year coverage – on the Series 9 Ducato (if purchased within promotion period) as well as the Series 2 Ducato. 

• Roadside Assistance: Also increased to 5 years, providing added support and reassurance throughout the ownership journey.
